Vicky is an amateur gourmet cook and lifelong foodie.

I love the food world. Cooking, baking, eating, everything. New flavors excite me, comfort foods warm me. I cook depending on my mood: sometimes fancy, sometimes simple. So there’s something here for everyone. Most of the recipes on this site I’ve forced my husband/sister/friends to eat; so I know they are good. If you dont agree - let me know!

I was luckily born and raised in NYC where theres a new restaurant or specialty food store every few blocks. I’ve been watching the restaurant scene since I was 14 (its true - I was such a lame kid!) and have eaten in many different places.
