Whoopie pies - Curse their delicious hides!

Whoopie pies - Curse their delicious hides!

I love whoopie pies but they are always too fatty for me to consume. If I do eat one – I am mad at myself for the rest of the day. As a smart alternative, I made this whoopie pie dessert recipe during one of my couch potato moments and they are just delightful!

Ingredients:

1 box No Pudge

1 cup Fresh Ricotta (if you don’t have fresh in your area then Polly-O or Sargento will do…but try for fresh)

3 tsp whole milk

1/2 vanilla bean seeds (or a dash of vanilla extract if you don’t have beans)

1 ts. splenda

Make ‘No Pudge‘ recipe according to the box but lay them out in a big pan to mak them thin. While they are baking, whip rest of the ingredients together and put in the frig. After the brownies have cooled, cut into bars (or circles if you like) and sandwich together with ricotta filling.

Ok – so they don’t look exactly like Whoppie Pies but they are delicious. Let me know how you like it!

Hey VIck, among everything else on here, this looks like a yummy snack I could enjoy but not feel guilty about later (as long as I don’t eat them all in one sitting right..haha) But I never heard of NO PUDGE the website lists, walbaums and pathmark, and a place called Fit Foods, Where on staten island do you buy it? I don’t want to take a trip to supermarkets that are listed but find they are not stocked.

Fit Foods is right by the GK train station so you can def get it there. I also find it at Stop N Shop generally. However – I’ll make it even easier on you. I’ve got an extra box in my pantry. Come on over and I’ll give it to you :)

    Hello!

This may seem strange as this was posted like last year! But i googled No Pudge in New York and this came up!
I’ve tried No Pudge before and LOVED it, i want to get some but no where really delivers to the UK, my mum in law is going to New York and says she’d pick me some up, can she just go into most supermarkets over there to get it? I don’t want to send her on a wild goose chase for the mix! If not i can have it delivered to her friend over there, just want to know the best place to get it really.
    Thanks
    Eveie :)
